Scary Monsters

Scary monsters often take the form of legendary creatures which usually appear in legends, tales or films. The word "monster" itself originates from the ancient Latin monstrum, meaning "omen", from the root of monere which means "to warn", rather apt for scary monsters don't you think?

Scary monsters refers to a being that is a gross exception to the norms of some ecosystem. A person referred to as a monster is taken as exceptionally evil, grotesque, unreasonably strict and uncaring, sociopathic, and/or sadistic. The word monster connotes something wrong or evil, an expample would be a monstrous being, physically or psychologically hideous, or a perhaps a freak of nature...
