@loltech777 Pretty sure that Pyramid Head was only in the movie because he's pretty much the most notable Silent Hill monster, and arguably the scariest, though with that I don't really agree.
Creepy as it is, the Cynthia chase-y music is really fun to head-bop to. :3
Could be worse. You could wake up with Eileen's stuffed bunny's MASSIVE BLOODY GRIN staring down at you when you sit up.
@HawaiianPrint0taku I enjoy the movie when I consider it a tribute. I don't consider it as actually being connected to the Silent Hill universe. It's like a fan fiction in movie form, essentially.

pyramid head was in sh 2 and homecoming because both of them sub-concouis ly wanted to be punished for something they did then blocked out (James killed mary, Alex killed his brother.) I think Pyramid head was in the movie because the movie makers wanted to make a throwback to silnt hill 2.

Silent Hill 2 is supposed to be about Heather though, which really won't make it any better.....
you could've used the sword of obedience on cynthia then you wouldn't have had to deal with the hooker.
@HawaiianPrint0taku I just pretend the movie is unrelated to the games at all. It's just a movie that was similarly named Silent Hill that just happened to have similarly named characters. One big coincidence

the subway world infuriates me so
I hate getting lost on the trains and the ghost and Eileens safety make it that much harder on me
Mainly Ph is to really symbolize Alessa which every game does not really show her story but he is also to symbolize the pain and rage inside the protagonist displayed

Pyramid Head was also in Origins (okay, the Butcher, same thing..) and Homecoming.. I personally think PH just symbolizes the thrill of the kill, or perhaps guilt for killing. Or both!
But that's just my view on it.
Though, he didn't have a place other than to have a cool scene of tearing that woman's skin off.
I think they just changed the key characters (and to the story itself) because it was a sort of reinterpretation for the first game. Nobody ever said it was gonna be identical.
Well Pyrimid Head was also in Home coming. And my reasoning for why I think PH was in the movie and Home Coming is because when people come to SH you dont really see them leave so my thought is that people who go to SH become perminate residence so maybe james stayed and became PH and thats why we seen him in the movie and home coming. He just stayed and wonders about. But idk it's just something to think about.
