Knott’s Scary Farm 2008 – Labyrinth

Review here: www.hollywoodgothique.com Our first encounter with "Labyrinth," the new maze replacing Lore of the Vampire, is qutie impressive. Some of the old elegant ambience remains, making this an entertaining, off-beat haunt.
In seconds we went from 27 degree sunshine to being stuck in the core of a severe thunderstorm. Seriously strong winds and torrential rain caused panic as families ran for cover. People were really caught out and some guys got stuck in the maze during the heavy hail storm that followed. As you can see we ended up in the gents toilet. The storm even breached them as the windows and doors couldn't hold back the rain. It was scary but fun.

At about 2:15, the first thing that comes to mind is Pan's Labyrinth. Now that is a creepy movie.

i went to knotts scary farm yesterday the new mazes are amazing! i got to go in every one virus z, sleepy hollow mountain, and fallout shelter without waiting in long lines

And I think you're right about how it relates to the theme of the maze. I get the same kind of feeling watching this as I felt when watching the movie. Good observation

wasn't this one based on this movie, El Laberinto del Fauno (Pan's Labyrinth) (2006)? Everything seems nearly identical. I highly recommend this movie, watch it before you go to the haunt this year, it is all in espanol, but it has subtitles, so everyone can watch it!

Great Maze! If you're Somewhat Perverted this is the maze for you. Hot Woman Half Naked get too close into your personal space and make bizarre gestures. But if you're looking for a good maze go to Lockdown.

Not bad for a change of pace compared to other haunt offerings, but this could've been done SOOO much better, and probably for less than what they paid for the huge and unnecessary animatronics in the scene.
